Formed in 1984 as the successor firm to Sutphin Morris and Associates,
Inc., Morris Architects has had a long history of serving our clients'
need to solve business facilities problems with strong and effective
design solutions.
We provide full design services including architecture, interior design
and space planning, facilities programming and management consulting,
public agency liaison and public approvals management, urban and
landscape design, furniture design and design of special environments.
Our team approach ensures that the best skills are available to address
unique design problems and we always include the client as a central
member of the team.
Our projects have included health care facilities and a funeral home,
offices and warehouses, stores and parks and large-scale urban
developments.

Our Chairman, Glenn Morris AIA, brings business as well as design
credentials to the firm. He has served as a business leader in local,
state and national venues and has been a Chamber of Commerce president.
He has served political campaigns from local to national in scope and
was a member of the national finance committee for a former presidential
candidate. He is currently a board member and operating committee member
of the Charles River Coalition, a school-to-work consortium that
includes the Brookline, Newton, Waltham and Wellesley (MA) school
systems. Mr. Morris was the founder of the School of Interior Design at
the Boston Architectural Center and at various times served as Chair of
the Center's Exhibitions, Continuing Education, Interior Design,
Development, Membership and MIS Committees as well as a member of the
Education Committee and of the Board of Directors.
