HEALTH CARE
Health care design involves the parallel solution of several design and planning problems into a single facility design solution. High-tech equipment and reimbursement economics issues need to be balanced with the patient's need for comfort and privacy. The projects shown here include a large multi-specialty health center and a sports medicine clinic. The designs reflect the differing clientele and their special needs.
We also include a extended care facility project that Mr. Morris was responsible for while a principal at Grayson Associates, Inc. This project has been used by groups like the Gerontological Society as an example of special enironments to support the elderly. The client funded substantial gerontological research that was directed by Mr. Morris, who was elected a member of the Gerontological Society for his work.
