Retail design presents the opportunity for unusual creativity and is
extraordinarily sensitive to the visual and spatial messages that the
design conveys.
In the case of national retailers, a consistent image ('branding') is
important to the success of the company, while local specialty retailers
need an image that strikes at the heart and psyche of their target
clientele.
This portfolio represents both national retailers like NTB, for whom
facility design creates a corporate identity that is consistent across
the nation even though the buildings themselves may vary widely, and
specialty retailers like Bob Smith/Wilderness House who must offer a
retail environment that reflects the unique psyche of their customers.
